✨ Features

The Brilliance of Pure Gold Thread

Unlike commercial gold thread, which is merely a metallic film wrapped around a core and prone to fading or peeling, genuine pure gold thread is made by stretching pure gold into thin foil, attaching it to washi paper, and twisting it into thread. Its deep, lasting brilliance is the true hallmark of authenticity.

Wooden Frame Mounting

The reverse side is lined with traditional Yuzen washi, adding refinement and beauty even to the unseen parts.

Kyoto Nishijin Weave Fabric

Originating in the Heian period and flourishing through the Muromachi era, Nishijin-ori was once used for the attire of samurai, nobility, and tea ceremony furnishings. Today it remains one of Japan’s most prestigious textiles. The luxurious donsu silk brocade, adorned with flowing water motifs, hexagons, and small floral patterns, brings depth and subtle elegance.

Fully Handmade, Custom-Made to Order

From the mounting itself to the embroidery, every piece is made entirely to order. This bespoke process ensures an exclusivity and presence unattainable in mass production.
